Dear CPC family,
Last Sunday, we were blessed by an amazing guest preacher, Pastor Ronald Britt, who challenged all Christians to join together in prayer in this season. He ministered powerfully to those on the patio and many of us at home. We wanted you to know another excellent guest preacher, Pastor Reed Jolley, is coming this Sunday, so we hope you’ll register for either the 9:30am or 11:00am service. Also, for our families, we will have our first outdoor Sunday school program for K-5th grade, so please register and bring your kids.
A few weeks ago, I wrote a devotional on Jesus’ command: “Do not worry…” (Matthew 6:25). With so much going on in our lives and in the world, it is easy to choose to worry. We each have some very real concerns that are causing us distress. Yet we remember that Jesus has not abandoned us and we can bring our worries to Him—for when we place our worries in His hands that gives us confidence to trust in the One who is exponentially more powerful and competent to handle our worries. Let’s trust God in this season and continue to seek His guidance in all things.
