Middle school

All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to be a part of the CPC Middle School Group.

We are all about three things: having fun, being real, and knowing Christ. Through Sundays, Wednesdays, fun events and camps our prayer is that our students would live differently because of their encounters with God.

Contact Amanda de la Vega Tovar for details or to receive emails with schedule changes and upcoming events.

CPC believes in the intergenerational church. We strive to be a church where all ages are gathered together and participate in worship. Students are invited to attend worship services with their families, alongside the church body.

Tip: Look for the student section at 11:00am in the first several pews on the right side!

CPC Middle School Retreat Weekend

Hume Lake Winter – January 27-29

(Sign Ups begin October 5)

This year we are taking our Middle School Group to Hume Lake Winter Camp. Hume Lake is a parachurch ministry that seeks to introduce youth to Jesus and help them grow in their faith. Hume is an exciting camp and retreat center with great services, fun activities, and excellent facilities! This weekend will be a great getaway to exploring our faith and having fun in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. Here is what to expect…

⎪ Sleep in cabins and enjoy amazing food.

⎪ Hear from a great speaker and energetic program.

⎪ Activities like monster tube run, ice skating, broom hockey tournament, snowboard run, and mechanical bull.

Don’t miss the weekend at Hume Lake Winter! There may even be snow!!

Sign ups will be Wednesday, October 5th at 3:00pm (we will not be taking sign ups before then), but first a few things about the trip:

Friday, January 27th — meet at CPC parking lot at 10:00am. If the weather permits us, we will be arriving to camp around 5pm, an hour before dinner. We understand that skipping school this day may not be ideal for all, however we want to make the most of a short weekend and not rush getting up the mountain.

Sunday, January 29th — after lunch at the camp we’ll head for home and will arrive at 6:00 PM in the CPC parking.
