CPC Reopening Update - November 6

November 6, 2020

Dear CPC family,

We wanted to make sure you knew that the weather forecast has possible rain and wind for Sunday. Our current patio setup isn’t ideal for this weather so there’s a chance we will need to cancel in-person services at both 9:30am and 11:00am and have online services only. We will be making a decision early Sunday morning so check your email or our website for the latest update before you head out the door.

Also, with rising cases of COVID globally, nationally and even locally, we wanted to remind you of our five guiding principles:

• The health and safety of our church family and guests is the utmost importance.

• Decisions will be made with great faith in King Jesus who is in control of our church and our lives.

• We will follow federal, state and local guidelines as requested by governmental authorities and medical professionals.

• Being a good neighbor involves helping those suffering during this quarantine as well as following health guidelines to protect the broader community.

• We will strive to speak highly of other churches and Christians even when we differ on decisions related to COVID-19.

We’ve had incredible in-person worship on our patio the past several weeks and we believe this prayerful commitment to the above principles has resulted in God-glorifying worship provided for all.

We will be in touch again soon,

Pastor Tim and the Church Reopening Team
