Hi CPC family,
I wanted to share an update with you from Pastor Tim regarding Family Ministries:
Dear CPC family, I wanted to let you know that we have a plan in place to provide leadership for our Family Ministries as we seek to join God in growing disciples of all ages at CPC. I’ve asked Amanda to take the lead in this interim season as I work with her and her great staff comprised of Erin Adams, Ben Bransford and Chase Jones, as well as some awesome volunteers (many of you!).
Amanda has more details below, but I’m excited to work with the whole team as we lift up the name of Christ in all that we do. I hope to see you at Christmas on the Corner on Friday and this Sunday in worship so we can celebrate God and all that he is doing in and through our ministries. Please reach out if you have any questions.
-Pastor Tim
As I look back at the last year and a half, I am in awe of how God has brought new life and growth into CPC's Family Ministries. We started a new college group, we have continued meeting faithfully on Wednesday's, we had VBS with 61 kids, we took over 100 students to camp this summer, we built a house in Mexico, and we started many new small groups. WOW! Praise God for his faithfulness! We also owe gratitude to our amazing team of volunteer leaders. They have been dedicated to investing their time and talents into the lives of children, students, and families and helped them grow in their faith. We are so grateful for the body of Christ coming together in this way!
As we look to the next chapter of Family Ministries, we are excited about our interim plans to grow our team.
Erin Adams will serve as Interim Children's Ministry Lead, continuing as the Sunday children's lead, as well as lead the CPC Kids on Wednesdays.
Ben Bransford will lead the high school group through teaching, discipleship, and training leaders alongside Amanda.
Chase Jones will intern for middle school, high school, and college groups, assisting with administration, planning, and programs alongside Amanda and Ben.
I will continue leading and guiding our middle school group, while also stepping up to lead and oversee our high school and college groups. I will also shepherd and guide our Family Ministries team as we plan and pray for how to best serve the children, students, and families of CPC.
Like Pastor Tim said, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to one of us. I am always available via email, phone, or to grab a cup of coffee! We are eager to see what unfolds in this new and exciting season for CPC's Family Ministries! Blessings, Amanda de la Vega Tovar
