About us

Carmel Presbyterian Church is a part of the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians (ECO). You can find out more about this denomination at

We are a place where people have been gathering for over 60 years-right in the heart of Carmel. Our church doors have been open for people of all walks of life and we are convinced that there is a place for everyone at CPC! Our mission is to be a loving, growing community where people of all ages experience God personally, are transformed inwardly, and serve others in Jesus’ name.

We hope that you will visit us on a Sunday morning. We would love to meet you!

-Statement of Faith-

We believe:

  1. The Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament, is God’s authoritative word to humanity. We believe Jesus Christ must be at the center of our lives and making disciples of Jesus at the core of our ministry.

  2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son (Jesus the Christ), Holy Spirit.

  3. The Gospel tells us to put our faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins and offers us everlasting grace which is free because of His life, death, and resurrection.

  4. The Holy Spirit indwells Christians and keeps them together in a covenant community called the Church.

  5. The Bible calls Christians to meet together and encourage each other through worship, preaching/teaching, fellowship, communion & baptism, and prayer.

  1. We submit ourselves to God’s Word as the authority of faith and daily living.

  2. We worship the Triune God alone as there is no other.

  3. We preach/teach the gospel as the only hope for ourselves and all around us.

  4. We follow the Holy Spirit in a commitment to be unified.

  5. We submit ourselves to the local church and seek to honor, serve, and give to the best of our ability.

Sunday services:

We invite you to join us on a Sunday morning for one of our worship services. Each service is about an hour. Here are some details:

9:30am: This service has more of a traditional feel with a choir, organ/piano, hymns and Biblical teaching.  Classes for children aged 3 months-5th grade at this service.

11:00amOur second service is family style, and is full of more contemporary worship songs led by the CPC band which prepares us for solid Biblical teaching. This service starts with kids aged kindergarten-8th grade in the service with us and then they break out to their classes for the last half of the service.

We understand that parking in downtown Carmel can be frustrating so we want to give you a heads up on how to easily find parking on a Sunday morning. First, if Sunday will be your first time with us, we invite you to park in our parking lot adjacent to the church. We also recommend using the Carmel Plaza Parking Garage located across the street from CPC. The entrance to the garage is on Mission Ave., just off Ocean Ave. We have free parking vouchers for those using the garage for worship on Sunday mornings. The vouchers can be picked up at our Connect Center outside the front doors of our sanctuary. There is also unlimited parking located on Mt. View Ave. which runs parallel to the church. The parking on Junipero Avenue is 2 hr parking.

our mission is to make disciples and grow christ-like followers of jesus.

our vision is to lead all in our community to become lifelong disciples of jesus christ.
