Why We're Here

Great Commission
How do we find fulfillment in the Lord?
The answer to this question was given by Jesus in John 15:10-11 where he says "If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love and your joy might be full'.
We can fulfill the 'commandments' of the Lord by being faithful, living righteous lives, understanding God's mercy and love for us. All these qualities will bring the joy of the Lord. Fulfilling the Great Commission by preaching, talking and speaking about Jesus Christ and the power of the holy ghost will also bring great joy into our life.
To be able to share the gospel with the unsaved and see their lives changed forever. This is very fulfilling. Jesus said in Mark 16:15 ".go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature". This is our calling and commission.
As a church we see each member as a vital part of the body of Christ and a part of fulfilling the Great Commission in our community.
For us it means to love unconditionally, reach out without prejudice and share Christ with our friends and families in a way that is real and tangible.
We know that we are planted in the Monterey Peninsula for a reason and we work to reach our community and our world through our Sunday services, community outreach, youth events, short and long term missions endeavors and much more.
